This property was in need of some major TLC when construction started. The existing 2 bed 1 bath house had termite damage, dry rot, and had not been remodeled since it was first built in 1950. Additionally, the house was mistreated and worn down from years of neglect. By adding a 350 sqft addition, the floor plan could now accommodate an extra bedroom and bathroom. The entire building was re-sided, including closed soffits and gable accents. The entire electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems were re-done, including dual fuel at all appliances. Thoughtful design elements include: an attic fan to reduce attic/house temperature, whole house fan to reduce AC use, commercial grade vinyl flooring, under-cabinet lighting, crown molding throughout, and pre-wiring for exterior cameras.
